Power BI / Excel Expert Needed: Automate Monthly Healthcare Dashboard

We are a senior living and clinical care provider managing 17 communities. We are looking for an expert in Microsoft Power BI or Excel Power Pivot / Power Query to help build and fully automate our monthly 17-page corporate Board Report package. Currently, our prototype in a low-code platform is hitting strict API row limitations and truncation caps. We need a robust solution built inside a standard corporate data architecture that can blend financial, operational, clinical, and human resources data smoothly without data drops. The Data Ecosystem You will be responsible for connecting and blending four distinct data streams: Financial & Census (PointClickCare): Data is hosted locally via a PointClickCare Data Relay architecture (an hourly replicated, read-only Microsoft SQL Server mirror). You will have direct credentials to query standard reporting views such as view_ods_ar_transaction, view_ods_daily_census, view_ods_ar_aging, and related ledger stored procedures. Workforce & HR (Paylocity): Active employee registries (~14,000 total records across historical sets, with roughly 1,100 active staff) and monthly turnover metrics. Public Quality Benchmarks (CMS 5-Star): Quarterly public datasets mapping quality ratings, RN/CNA Hours Per Resident Day (HPRD), and survey timelines. Clinical Metrics (Medicare MDS): Multi-quarter quality measures tracking fall injuries, UTI rates, pressure ulcers, etc. Scope of Work & Deliverables Data Integration: Establish clean, automated data connections using Power Query to pull from our local SQL Server (PCC Data Relay), Paylocity, and public CMS web repositories. Bridge Mapping (No-Code Layer): Design a clean relational data model that ties disparate data layers together—specifically mapping Paylocity Location/Department codes directly to PointClickCare Cost Centers, and facility names to CMS Provider IDs. Pagination & Limit Handling: Ensure that large employee databases (14,000+ records) and multi-row General Ledger transactions load completely and aggregate accurately by region. Report Replication: Build a clean, presentation-ready layout that identically replicates our current corporate board structure. Required Qualifications Proven expertise in Microsoft Power BI or Excel Power Pivot / Power Query (Advanced Data Modeling).Deep understanding of Relational Databases and connecting to Microsoft SQL Server. Prior experience working with Healthcare or Long-Term Care datasets (PointClickCare, CMS Care Compare, or MDS datasets is a massive plus).Ability to translate complex data requests into clear, visual business dashboards for non-technical executives.
