Power BI Expert | Interactive Supply Chain & Sales Dashboard Development

Project Overview: import-export / distribution business and we need a Power BI expert to help us clean, model, and visualize our operational data for the first half of 2026.Currently, our data is stored in a multi-tab Excel file (Operations_Database_H1_2026.xlsx) containing around 200 transaction lines and a separate master data table for clients and freight costs. The raw data has several inconsistencies (mixed date formats, status anomalies, and varying text cases) that need to be resolved via Power Query first.Key Deliverables:Data Cleaning & ETL: Fix the date formats, clean up text inconsistencies, and handle cancelled/pending order logic using Power Query.Data Modeling: Create a clean relational model (Star Schema) linking our Sales_Transactions sheet to the Client_Dim_&_Costs reference table.DAX Calculations: Set up key business metrics including:Total RevenueTotal Logistics/Freight Cost ($Volume \times Freight\ Cost\ per\ KG$)Net Profit Margin & Margin %Delivery Performance (Average Delay Days)Interactive Dashboard: Design an intuitive, executive-ready multi-page report focusing on Sales Trends, Product Performance, and Regional Logistics/Hub Analysis.Requirements:Proven experience with Power BI, Power Query, and advanced DAX.Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, or commercial operational data.Ability to deliver a clean, well-structured .pbix file .Data Availability:The 2-page Excel dataset (200+ rows) is ready to be shared immediately upon starting the contract.If you have experience turning raw operational logs into strategic dashboards, please apply with a brief description of your approach and samples of your previous work.
