PowerPoint Designer — Educational Consulting Brand
Worldwide
Got it. You were in the middle of building the PowerPoint system when you asked for a PPT developer — and the conversation ended with Farhan being the first option to check, and Fiverr/Upwork as the backup. Here's the Upwork post built for what EDCO actually needs. Here's the Upwork job post, built around exactly what EDCO needs based on the work we were doing. --- **UPWORK JOB POST — PowerPoint Presentation Designer (EDCO)** --- **Job Title:** PowerPoint Designer — Educational Consulting Brand (Ongoing) --- **Job Description:** I'm the founder of a national K–12 school discipline consulting firm with 40+ years in the field. I present at education conferences across the country and need a skilled PowerPoint designer to rebuild and maintain my conference presentation decks. **What you'll be working with:** I have 5 existing conference presentations that need to be updated and brought into alignment with our current brand framework. Each deck is 30–60 slides. I'll provide you with: - Existing .pptx files to update (not build from scratch) - A complete brand guide (colors, fonts, logo, shield mark) - Slide-by-slide update notes specifying exactly what changes - New slide designs I need added (title, framework intro, proof, CTA) - HTML mockups for new slides that need to match precisely **Your job is execution, not design decisions.** I'll tell you what goes where. Your job is to make it look polished, consistent, and professional across every deck. --- **Specific skills required:** - Expert-level PowerPoint — shapes, masks, text boxes, image placement, SmartArt - Ability to match an existing design system exactly (colors, fonts, layout logic) - Clean typography — you know the difference between a slide that reads and one that doesn't - Ability to work from a brief without back-and-forth - Turnaround of 2–3 business days per deck **Nice to have:** - Experience with education, consulting, or professional development brands - Ability to build a reusable slide template (.potx) for future decks --- **Project scope:** - Phase 1: Update 5 existing decks (priority order I'll provide) - Ongoing: New slides added per conference cycle, 2–4x per year - Potential: Build out a Master Slide Template once Phase 1 is complete --- **What I'm NOT looking for:** - Designers who want to reimagine the brand or suggest layout changes I didn't ask for - Slow communicators — if you need 5 messages to understand a brief, this isn't the right fit - Anyone who builds in Canva only — final files must be native .pptx --- **To apply, please include:** 1. 2–3 samples of PowerPoint decks you've designed (education or consulting preferred) 2. Your typical turnaround for a 40-slide deck update 3. Your hourly rate OR a flat rate per deck **Budget:** $50–$150 per deck depending on scope (negotiable for the right person) **Hours:** Variable — light ongoing work after Phase 1 --- **Next step:** Reply with samples and availability. I'm ready to start Phase 1 immediately.
