PowerPoint Designer for Academic Slides

I am an instructor creating lectures for a course. I have already created the lecture content, but the slides are currently formatted as simple white slides with black text. I am looking for someone with strong PowerPoint design skills to convert these lectures into professional, academic, lecture-ready presentations using the University's PowerPoint template (attached). This is primarily a design and formatting project. I do not need major content rewriting or a highly stylized presentation. The goal is to make the slides visually polished, consistent, and appropriate for a university classroom while keeping the focus on the academic content. Scope of Work: - Apply the University PowerPoint template and design standards to existing lecture slides. - Improve slide layouts, spacing, hierarchy, and visual consistency. - Convert text-heavy slides into cleaner academic layouts where appropriate. - Improve tables, figures, diagrams, and simple visual elements (if needed) while preserving scientific accuracy. - Use appropriate layouts, colours, fonts, and design elements. - Maintain a professional university lecture style rather than a corporate or marketing presentation style. - Keep the overall design relatively simple and evidence-focused. - Preserve all existing speaker notes. - Preserve all citations, references, and hyperlinks. - Preserve slides that only contain a single question. These slides are intentionally designed for in-class discussion using Poll Everywhere software and should remain simple. - Ensure the final PowerPoint remains editable. Important Requirements Please do not: - Rewrite my content. - Add AI-generated images, text, or unsupported visuals. - Over-design the slides. - Make the presentation look like it was created by AI or a marketing agency. - Remove or modify speaker notes. The final product should look like a well-designed professional academic lecture, not an AI-generated presentation.
