Practical Business Coach – SMEs, Groups & 1:1
Worldwide
About Wild Growth Profits We help Australian SMEs grow profit through business transformation, smarter systems, and automation. We now want a practical business coach who can work with our clients in both group programs and 1:1 to drive clear plans and real execution. Role Overview Work with small and medium business owners (typically 2–50 staff) to clarify goals, build a business plan, and execute it. Deliver a mix of: 1. Group coaching sessions (structured, topic‑based with hot seats). 2. 1:1 coaching focused on numbers, priorities, and action. Turn messy reality into a simple, usable business plan + 90‑day action plans that owners actually follow. Key Responsibilities Group coaching 1. Run regular group sessions with a clear agenda (teaching + discussion + commitments). 2. Facilitate peer learning, accountability, and sharing of working ideas between owners. 3. Use simple tools and templates so clients leave each session knowing exactly what to do next. 1:1 coaching 1. Work directly with owners to clarify goals, niches, offers, pricing, and team structure. 2. Review high‑level numbers (revenue, margin, capacity, pipeline) and set targets. 3. Hold clients accountable to weekly/fortnightly actions and help them unblock issues fast. Business plan creation 1. Lead clients through a structured planning process: vision, market, offer, marketing, sales, operations, people, and financials. 2. Produce a concise business plan that can be used with banks, advisers, and internal teams. 3. Review and update plans on a regular cadence (e.g. every 6–12 months). Rhythm, tools and reporting 1. Establish simple meeting rhythms and scorecards so clients track progress consistently. 2. Work alongside our consulting/IT team so coaching aligns with system and automation changes. 3. Keep clear notes, actions, and progress logged in our tools. Required Skills & Experience 1 Proven experience as a business coach or advisor working with small and medium businesses. 2 Experience delivering both group programs and 1:1 coaching. 3 Demonstrated ability to build and implement business plans for SMEs (not just theory). 4 Strong commercial understanding – revenue models, basic P&L, cash flow, and capacity planning. 5 Excellent facilitation, communication, and listening skills. 6 Comfortable working with structured frameworks and templates (we will provide WGP IP and tools). Experience with: 1. Google Docs, Slack, Jira, Confluence and Draw.io collaboration tools. 2. Excellent written and spoken English. Nice to Have 1 Prior experience with Australian SMEs and understanding of the local environment. 2 Background in operations, finance, consulting, or running your own business. 3 Experience integrating coaching with systems/automation/CRM changes. Engagement 1 Available Sydney, Australia business hours (at least 3–4 hours overlap). 2 Remote work using Google Meet. 3 Variable hours per week depending on program and client load. 4 Long‑term relationship preferred. What to Include in Your Application 1 Short intro to your business coaching background and typical client profile. 2 2–3 examples where you: 2.1. Ran a group program for small business owners. 2.2. Coached an SME 1:1 and helped them implement a business plan. 3 A brief outline (5–10 bullet points) of how you typically build a business plan with a client. 4 Your hourly rate, any program/package options, and your typical weekly availability in Sydney time.
