Premiere Pro UXP Plugin Developer

We're building a Premiere Pro plugin that helps professional editors pull selects from large volumes of footage. Our team includes a veteran network sports editor to set the bar on quality, and the tool has to make decisions a pro would actually approve of in a real edit. They'll shape both the product and the training data. We are looking to create a UXP Hybrid Plugin for Premiere Pro that analyzes raw footage and outputs a working selects sequence the editor can use directly. Our current thinking: keep footage on-device using native C++ for frame-level CV work via the Hybrid Plugin SDK, with a cloud control plane for higher-level reasoning, licensing, and model delivery. We're open to candidates pushing back on this with a better approach. Encoding editorial taste is the core challenge. Knowing when a camera move is intentional vs. a reset, when to pad an in-point on a lighting change, when a tight shot needs less handle than a wide one. We have access to real edited sequences and a working editor who can label ground truth. We're looking for someone who has shipped a Premiere panel, ideally on UXP (not just CEP). Comfort with at least one of: native CV work in C++ (OpenCV, optical flow, scene detection), multimodal AI integration at scale, or video pipeline work (FFmpeg, codec handling, frame-accurate timecode). Bonus if you've worked with editorial workflows directly or shipped to the Creative Cloud Marketplace.
