Pricing Analyst  for Safety products and services company

Job Summary: - The Pricing Analyst manages complex, high-value RFQ projects for key national prospects. Collaborate with opportunity owners (Sales/Leadership) to develop profit strategy; providing data analysis as required. Collaborate with suppliers to obtain competitive and deviated costs. Continuously elevates and redefines RFQ process to improve efficiency and accuracy. Primary Responsibilities: Manage and respond to complex, high-value RFQ projects for key national prospects Understand customer expectations/requirements, manage multiple pricing projects and tasks within each project Understand and apply strategic pricing methods and initiatives Understand, develop, manage strategic pricing approach, evaluation of client pricing programs, evaluating performance, advising Safety Advisors/Leadership of recommended strategies Document and apply project timelines, time estimates, and plans. Consistently meet tight deadlines with high accuracy rate Responds to low margin alerts efficiently and accurately Manage and maintain database for responses to RFQ questions on capabilities Review expiring contracts and delegate actions to Sales Operations Specialist Answer any questions regarding regular price evaluations Work with suppliers to obtain or maintain any special costs and rebates Work with Supply Chain to ensure proper costs are loaded at the company or customer level Experience/Education & Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ pricing and project management Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred Project management – Manage multiple pricing projects and tasks within each project. Strong verbal communication – with clients, resources, suppliers, internal support, stakeholders Technology savvy – Dynamics, P21, QLIK, Rhythm, Excel Strong written communication – Email, Summary Documents Strategic thinker – solution-oriented in the face of adversity; navigate discussions to mutual success Ability to take initiative, make independent judgement/decisions, gather data, and prepare reports Relationship management – ability to actively listen, assess, and communicate to meet client needs and gain consensus Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
