Privacy / Data-Removal Business Turnaround Advisor (DeleteMe / Optery-type experience)

I'm rebuilding PrivacyDuck.com — a personal-data-removal and online-privacy service (think DeleteMe, Optery, Incogni, Kanary). The company has real history and revenue: the legacy brand collected ~$165K lifetime and was signing 15–17 new subscribers/month before an ownership transition broke our billing and stalled growth. The product works; the business engine needs rebuilding. I'm looking for an advisor who has actually operated, scaled, or turned around a similar consumer privacy / data-broker-removal / subscription SaaS business — not a generalist. Over an initial engagement you'll help me diagnose the gaps and build a concrete plan to get back to a healthy, growing subscriber base. What you'll help with: Recovering lapsed/failed subscribers and fixing churn (Stripe dunning, retries, failed-payment recovery, win-back flows) Subscription growth strategy and pricing/packaging for the data-removal market Positioning a "human/manual removal" service honestly against automated competitors (DeleteMe, Optery, Incogni) Go-to-market: paid acquisition channels that work for privacy/people-search (and which are policy-restricted) Standing up a clean ops/CRM workflow (we're on Odoo) and a B2B / executive-protection offering Deliverability and reputation cleanup (domain blocklists, email auth) Ideal experience: Direct operating or advisory experience at a consumer privacy / data-removal / reputation-management company, OR a comparable subscription D2C SaaS turnaround Hands-on with Stripe Billing, subscription metrics (churn, LTV, CAC, recovery rate), and dunning Strong grasp of the data-broker / opt-out landscape and US privacy regulation (CCPA/CPRA, etc.) Track record of measurably growing or restoring recurring revenue
