Proactive Video Editor Needed for Client Projects | Paid Test Task Available

We’re looking for a proactive video editor to support us across client video projects, including corporate videos, event highlights, interviews, podcasts, social clips, and sizzle-style edits. We need someone who can do more than simply follow instructions. The ideal editor can read a client brief, understand the scope, and make smart editorial decisions without needing to be hand-held through every detail. You should be able to: - Understand the goal of the video and translate it into a strong edit - Make sensible decisions around pacing, structure, b-roll, music, subtitles, and graphics - Flag issues early if something is unclear, missing, or not achievable with the available footage - Communicate proactively and professionally throughout the project - Suggest solutions when problems come up, not just point out blockers - Stay aligned with the agreed scope and timeline We’ll shortlist a few candidates and provide a paid test task to see who best matches our workflow, editing standards, communication style, and ability to interpret a brief.
