Our work depends on accurate pricing, clean spreadsheets, and consistent updates so pharmacies can buy at the best possible cost. Your job is to keep that data engine running smoothly. This role is for someone who: - Enjoys structured, repetitive, detail‑focused work - Is happy working in Google Sheets for most of the day - Cares more about accuracy and consistency than speed You will receive clear Loom video trainings and written SOPs for each process. --- ### Key outcomes (what success looks like) - Supplier prices are updated correctly and on time - Price comparisons clearly show the best supplier options - Manual price research is completed accurately using defined sources - Spreadsheets stay structured, organised, and error‑free - Our buying team can rely on your data without having to double‑check it --- ### Responsibilities **1. Supplier price updates** - Update Google Sheets using: Excel price lists, PDF offers, supplier emails, online portals, tender documents - Match correct product codes, pack sizes, and units **2. Price comparison & validation** - Compare prices across multiple suppliers to identify: - Lowest available price - Large or unusual price changes - Missing supplier prices - Flag anything that looks inconsistent or incorrect **3. Manual price research (no scripts/coding)** - Look up prices via supplier portals, online price lists, shared documents, internal data - Record findings clearly in the correct format - Follow clear rules to decide which prices to use **4. Out of stock & substitution updates** - Update sheets when suppliers confirm items are unavailable - Record supplier feedback - Flag lines where alternatives may be needed **5. Spreadsheet quality control** - Keep data clean across multiple sheets: - Do not overwrite formulas - Maintain consistent formatting and supplier names - Avoid duplicate entries - Ensure all required fields are completed **6. Support monthly purchasing workflows** - Help prepare bulk‑buy spreadsheets by: - Ensuring prices are current - Checking usage data is complete - Confirming supplier mappings are correct --- ### Requirements - Strong confidence using Google Sheets or Excel - High attention to detail and accuracy - Comfortable working with structured data for long periods - Able to follow step‑by‑step processes exactly - Able to spot inconsistencies in numbers or text - Good written English - Reliable internet connection - Able to work independently and meet deadlines --- ### Ideal candidate - Enjoys working with numbers and structured data - Careful, methodical, and patient - Comfortable with repetitive but important tasks - Good at spotting patterns and small mistakes - Looking for stable, long‑term work **Nice to have (not required):** - Experience with pricing / procurement / supply chain data - Experience handling large spreadsheets - Experience as a VA in operations or back‑office roles - Basic understanding of spreadsheet formulas (training provided) **Working hours** - This is a long‑term, 30–40 hours per week role. - We are based in the UK and require at least **3–4 hours of overlap between 14:00 and 18:00 UK time, Monday to Friday** so you can process same‑day supplier and order updates. - The remaining hours are flexible, as long as you: - Ensure all daily price and spreadsheet updates are completed by **20:00 (8pm) UK time** - Work **3–4 hours at the weekend** for weekly data cleanup and purchasing preparation (exact times can be agreed to suit your schedule) - We care more about consistent output and hitting agreed deadlines than the exact times you are online, as long as you reliably meet these expectations. ### Pay & progression - Starting rate: $3 – $5 per hour, based on experience - Long‑term role for the right person - Opportunity to increase responsibility (and pay) over time as you master the processes --- ### How to apply Please include: 1.
