The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to ensure Kaiser has the materials, equipment and supplier partnerships required to deliver each project successfully. You will play a key role in controlling costs, reducing supply-chain risk and building a procurement function that supports Kaiser’s continued growth. This position requires someone who is commercially minded, highly organized and capable of managing multiple suppliers, purchases and project requirements simultaneously. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement procurement strategies that support Kaiser’s operational and commercial objectives. * Source and negotiate with suppliers for elevator equipment, components, materials and subcontracted services. * Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to improve pricing, service, quality and reliability. * Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining required quality and delivery standards. * Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing activities to support project schedules. * Work closely with Project Managers to ensure materials and equipment are available when required. * Track purchase orders, manufacturing schedules, shipping milestones and delivery dates. * Manage supplier performance and resolve delivery, pricing or quality issues quickly and effectively. * Identify supply-chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruption. * Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier agreements, quotations and procurement documentation. * Monitor market trends, pricing changes and supplier performance to support informed purchasing decisions. * Continuously improve procurement processes, systems, reporting and controls as the business grows. * Provide regular updates to leadership regarding purchasing status, cost savings, supplier issues and supply-chain risks. What We’re Looking For * Minimum of five years’ experience in procurement, purchasing or supply-chain management. * Experience within the elevator industry, commercial construction or a comparable technical industry. * Previous experience working with an independent elevator contractor is strongly preferred. * Strong commercial negotiation and supplier-management skills. * Experience managing procurement budgets, purchasing forecasts and cost-control initiatives. * Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics and supply-chain best practices. * Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and growing business. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Proactive, accountable and comfortable working independently. * Sufficient availability to overlap with U.S. business hours. What Success Looks Like in Your First 12 Months * Strong supplier relationships have been established, improving reliability, pricing and service. * Clear procurement processes and controls have been implemented to support efficient project delivery. * Project Managers have greater visibility over purchasing, manufacturing and delivery schedules. * Supply-chain risks have been reduced and potential delays are identified earlier. * Projects consistently receive the materials and equipment required to maintain their schedules. * Company profitability has improved through effective purchasing, negotiation and supplier management. Location and Travel Location: Remote, with a preference for candidates based in Tennessee or able to work significant overlap with Tennessee business hours. Alternative working arrangements may be considered for the right candidate. Travel: Occasional travel may be required for supplier meetings, project sites, industry events and company meetings. Attendance at annual company retreats is expected. Required business travel will be arranged and paid for by Kaiser Elevators. Salary Range $85,000–$110,000 per year This range reflects U.S. market rates for the role. Final compensation will depend on experience, industry knowledge and the overall scope of responsibilities.
