Product Data Automation & Scraping Specialist (Python / Excel / APIs)

We are a UK software company building a B2B ordering platform for wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers. We need a highly logical technical person to help automate customer product onboarding. This is NOT simple data entry. You will be working with: * supplier spreadsheets * manufacturer product lists * messy Excel files * websites * PDFs * product images * APIs * Python scripts * import tools Typical tasks include: * cleaning and restructuring Excel spreadsheets * identifying missing product information * scraping product descriptions/images/specifications * mapping categories and attributes logically * matching SKUs between systems * bulk image processing * preparing data for import * using APIs to upload products * extending Python scripts/tools where needed * helping automate repetitive onboarding processes Required skills: * Advanced Excel * Python * Web scraping * APIs * Data cleaning/transformation * Strong logical thinking * Attention to detail Bonus skills: * SQL * Experience with ecommerce product catalogues * ERP or inventory system experience Important: We are looking for someone who can THINK and solve problems, not just follow instructions.
