UI/UX Product Designer for Native iOS Apps (Design Systems, Branding & Motion)

We run a small iOS app studio and we ship fast. A lot of our budget goes into paid acquisition on Meta and other platforms, so our apps need to feel premium the moment someone opens them. We’re looking for a UI/UX designer who can own the product design end-to-end — interaction, visual, branding, and motion — and deliver Figma files clean enough to hand straight to engineering. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Design native iOS apps with strong UX foundations and a real understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines. • Build full design systems in Figma (or your tool of choice): typography, color tokens, spacing, components, variants, states, dark mode. • Create app logos and full brand identity for each app we ship. • Design app icons, in-app illustrations, and custom imagery. • Design and prototype UI animations and micro-interactions (Lottie, Rive, After Effects, or native iOS specs). • Hand off clean, well-structured design files with proper specs, exports, and assets. • Produce App Store screenshots and preview videos. • Design marketing and transactional email templates. • Iterate fast on paywalls, onboarding flows, and other conversion-critical UX. MUST-HAVE • Strong portfolio of shipped native iOS apps you designed (App Store links required). • Mastery of Figma, Sketch, or similar — with clean, well-structured files. • Deep knowledge of mobile UX patterns and Apple’s design language. • Real design system experience: tokens, components, variants, documentation. • Original visual design skills: logos, app icons, illustrations, imagery. • Animation and motion design skills (Lottie, Rive, After Effects). • Email design experience. • Eye for premium, polished, modern aesthetics. Taste is non-negotiable. • Conversion-driven UX: paywalls, onboarding, A/B test variants. • Strong English, proactive communication, owner mentality. NICE-TO-HAVE • App Store Optimization (ASO) and screenshot best practices. • Experience designing UI for AI-powered apps (chat, generative, streaming interfaces). ENGAGEMENT We’re hiring for the long term. Process: 1. Quick interview. 2. One-week paid job to see how we work together. 3. One-month paid full-time trial. 4.
