Product Development Lead

Summary

COMPANY PROFILE: We make premium kitchen tools for people who cook from scratch — food mills, canning kits, and accessories trusted by home cooks, homesteaders, and food-craft enthusiasts. We're a growing brand sold across Amazon US, CA, UK, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and Shopify. We're lean, fast-moving, and obsessed with quality. Our team is fully remote and spans multiple countries. THE POSITION This is not a "find products on H10 and send a spreadsheet" role. You own product development end-to-end: signal detection, research, scoring, supplier sourcing, sample management, and launch execution. You think like an investor, operate like a founder, and build systems that run without you. WHAT YOU WILL OWN.... RESEARCH & PIPELINE • Weekly product signal detection using H10, Amazon data, Titan Network framework, and trend signals • Maintain and update the Product Pipeline Tracker every Friday • Score all qualifying opportunities using the HA Underwriting Template + Market Share Capture Model • Produce a written investment brief for every go/no-go recommendation — you stand behind your calls SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT • Alibaba sourcing: identify qualified suppliers, request quotes, compare MOQ/lead times/pricing • Manage supplier communications (email, WeChat/WhatsApp as needed) • Coordinate sample orders: track shipments, evaluate quality, document results • Build a supplier database for each product category we enter LAUNCH EXECUTION • Coordinate new product launches using the Roger/Titan launch framework • Create listing briefs: titles, bullets, keywords, A+ content direction • Manage image testing via ProductPinion — iterate until winner found • Track launch KPIs: BSR, CVR, reviews, TACOS in first 90 days • Vine enrollment, coupon strategy, PPC launch structure (in collaboration with Carla) SYSTEM BUILDING • Document every process you run — SOPs live in Google Drive • Build a launch playbook • Identify when a product candidate should be paused vs. advanced — and write up the reasoning REPORTING • Weekly pipeline update • Monthly product portfolio review for CEO NON-NEGOTIABLE • Deep Helium 10 proficiency: Black Box, Cerebro, Magnet, Xray — you can teach these, not just use them • You have researched products that actually launched and sold on Amazon — show us with data • You can build and read a P&L model — margin math is not intimidating • You understand Amazon competitive dynamics: BSR, review velocity, launch costs, PPC requirements • You have managed supplier relationships on Alibaba — quotes, samples, negotiations • Strong written English — your reports are clear, specific, and recommendation-driven • You form opinions and defend them with data — we do not want neutral data-dumpers • You are a builder, not a reporter. You don't just find problems — you propose solutions. NICE TO HAVE • Experience in kitchenware, homeware, cooking, outdoor, or food categories • Experience building product launch SOPs or playbooks • Has worked with a brand doing $1M+ on Amazon (not just an agency) • Exposure to Titan Network frameworks (States & Drivers, Roger's launch template) • Basic understanding of freight, 3PL, FBA prep requirements • Familiarity with TikTok Shop product trends WHY THIS ROLE • You'll own a function that directly drives company growth — not assist someone else's vision • The CEO is hands-on, data-driven, and values independent thinking • Every product you launch compounds — it's not a one-time win • The playbook you build here scales across a growing brand portfolio • We are a real business with real products used in real kitchens, building toward $10M
