Product Engineer — manufacturing-ready CAD (STEP + 2D + BOM) for a custom water-bottle cap

Summary

I'm developing an insulated hydration backpack for outdoor and industrial workers, and I need manufacturing-ready CAD for the custom cap assembly of the water bottle. The bottle itself is a standard vacuum-insulated stainless steel bottle (1.5–2L) — I do not need the bottle body designed from scratch. The custom work is the cap assembly. I have concept sketches and a written specification I will share with the selected freelancer (an NDA is in place and can be signed on request). What the cap assembly must do: Wide mouth for fast, easy refilling Quick-connect interface so a drink tube can attach and detach from the cap in one motion Internal dip tube running from the cap down to the base of the bottle, so the tube draws water down to the last of the bottle Secure, leak-proof seal when the tube is detached and the cap is closed Suitable for injection molding (plastic) with silicone seals — designed for manufacturing, not just visual Deliverables: 3D CAD model of the cap assembly in STEP (.stp/.step) format 2D technical drawings (dimensioned, PDF) for manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM) listing components and suggested materials Editable native source file (SolidWorks/Fusion/etc.) Design compatible with a standard threaded bottle neck — I can provide target dimensions or you can propose a standard About the project: The manufacturer (an established bottle OEM) will use these files for tooling, so the design must be practical and manufacturable — DFM experience is essential. I'm open to your engineering input on the most practical way to achieve the quick-connect mechanism; there may be existing standard approaches worth using rather than inventing one. This is the first component, with potential for ongoing work as the product develops.
