Product Image Editor / Photoshop Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Image Editor / Photoshop Specialist to process and prepare product images for use on our websites, e-commerce platforms, catalogs, and marketing materials. This is an ongoing project involving industrial and commercial products. The ideal candidate has strong Photoshop skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience creating clean, professional product imagery suitable for e-commerce and print applications. Responsibilities Remove backgrounds from product photos. Color correct and adjust brightness, contrast, levels, exposure, and white balance as needed. Remove dust, scratches, blemishes, reflections, and other imperfections. Create clean, professional product images with a consistent appearance across the entire product catalog. Apply a small, subtle company watermark according to provided branding guidelines. Create transparent PNG files optimized for web use. Save layered PSD source files for future editing. Rename files using our provided Item ID and product description naming. Organize and deliver files in a structured folder hierarchy. Create simple shadows or reflections when appropriate. Maintain consistency across large batches of images. Follow established image standards and quality control procedures. Requirements Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop. Experience editing product photography for e-commerce, catalogs, or marketing materials. Strong understanding of masking, clipping paths, color correction, retouching, and image optimization. Ability to work independently and manage large batches of images efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow detailed instructions and file naming conventions. Excellent communication and responsiveness. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with industrial, manufacturing, agricultural, automotive, or technical product photography. Experience creating vector assets from product images for use in catalogs, websites, and marketing materials. Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator for occasional vector editing and asset creation. Knowledge of preparing images for both web and print applications. Deliverables For each image, we will typically require: Edited layered PSD file. Transparent PNG export for web use. Watermarked version with company branding applied. Properly renamed files using the provided Item ID and description. Consistent sizing, positioning, and image quality standards.
