Product Image Expert Needed — Create a Consistent, Premium Image System for Our Pilates Socks

About the project We are a growing Pilates sock brand and are looking for someone who can solve our product photography problem once and for all. Our website (www.griplies.com) currently has a mix of different types of images for different sock designs: some are lifestyle photos, some are flatlays, and some are model shots showing the sock on a foot. While we have a lot of high-quality lifestyle and photoshoot content, we do not have a consistent “hero” product image for each design. This is becoming a real problem because we want our website to look much more premium, cohesive, and professional. When customers browse our collection, we want every product to have the same visual language. We are therefore looking for someone who can help us develop a scalable solution for all current and future sock designs. What we need We need a consistent primary product image for every sock design. Ideally, the images should: - Look highly realistic and premium - Show the actual sock accurately - Have consistent positioning, perspective, lighting, shadows, background, etc. - Look cohesive when displayed next to each other on our Shopify website - Accurately represent colors, patterns, textures and details of the actual product - Be scalable so that we can create the same type of image for new designs in the future - Feel like professional commercial product photography — not obviously AI-generated We are open to AI / 3D solutions In fact, we are particularly interested in exploring this. We don't necessarily want to organize another large photoshoot every time we launch a new sock design. If you have experience using AI, 3D rendering, CGI, virtual photography, AI product photography, or other digital solutions to create highly realistic product images, we would love to hear about it. However, the quality bar is HIGH. We are not looking for generic AI-generated product images that look artificial, distorted, overly smooth, or obviously fake. The final result needs to look real enough that a customer would genuinely believe the sock was professionally photographed. If you have a solution that combines our existing photography/assets with AI or 3D technology, even better. What we already have We have: - High-quality photoshoot/lifestyle images of our socks - Images of many of our designs being worn - The actual physical products - Product images/assets that can potentially be used as references - A large number of different sock designs What we are missing is a consistent master product-image system. What we are NOT looking for We are not simply looking for someone to: - Remove backgrounds - Retouch existing images - Make a few Photoshop mockups - Create generic AI images - We want someone who can look at the problem strategically and say: “Here is the best way to create a consistent product image for your entire collection, and here is how we can make this scalable going forward.” You may recommend AI, 3D, CGI, compositing, photography, or a combination of different techniques. We are open to the solution. Your experience You would be a great fit if you have experience with one or more of the following: - AI product photography - AI image generation / image editing - 3D product rendering - CGI / virtual photography - E-commerce product photography - Photoshop / compositing - Fashion or apparel product visualization - Creating consistent product-image systems for e-commerce brands - Shopify product imagery - Experience with textiles, socks, apparel, fashion accessories or other products with detailed patterns/textures is a big plus. Important: Please show us what you can do Your portfolio is VERY important for this project. Please send: - Examples of highly realistic AI-generated or digitally created product photography - Before/after examples if you have them - Examples where you created multiple product images that follow the exact same visual style - Any examples involving apparel, socks, shoes or textiles - A short explanation of the technology/workflow you used Potential long-term work If we find the right solution and person, this could become an ongoing project. We have multiple sock collections and will continue launching new designs. Ideally, we want to establish the visual system once and then be able to create consistent product images for every future launch.
