Product & Marketplace Consultant for Pre-Launch Review of an EdTech Platform

About the Project I am the founder of a global EdTech marketplace that connects international students with language schools around the world. Having worked in the international education industry since 1996, this platform is the result of nearly three decades of experience and long-term partnerships with language schools and international education providers. Our mission is to modernize how students discover, compare, and book language courses through a transparent, guided, and trusted digital experience. The MVP has already been designed, developed, and is currently undergoing final validation before its public launch. At this stage, I am looking for a Senior Product & Marketplace Consultant with a proven track record of launching or scaling Marketplace and SaaS products. This is not a request for a website review or generic business advice. I am looking for practical, experience-based recommendations from someone who has successfully built, launched, or scaled digital products. The platform is confidential and has not yet been publicly launched. An NDA can be signed if required. Project Objective Your role is to perform a comprehensive pre-launch audit of the platform and provide strategic recommendations before launch. The objective is to identify weaknesses, validate assumptions, improve the user journey, strengthen customer trust, maximize conversion, reduce launch risks, and position the platform for sustainable long-term growth. Scope of Review Please evaluate the following areas: • Product Strategy • Marketplace Business Model • User Journey & Onboarding • Website Structure & Navigation • User Experience (UX) • Trust & Credibility • Conversion Opportunities • Pricing & Positioning • Marketplace Supply & Demand Strategy • Launch Readiness • Go-to-Market Strategy • Product Roadmap • Long-Term Scalability Current Stage The MVP is functionally complete and is now in its final validation stage before launch. This engagement focuses on validating and strengthening the existing platform—not redesigning or rebuilding it. Deliverables The successful consultant should provide: • A comprehensive product review report • Prioritized recommendations (High / Medium / Low) • UX recommendations • Conversion optimization recommendations • Marketplace improvement recommendations • Product roadmap suggestions • Go-to-Market recommendations • Launch risk assessment • Quick wins that can realistically be implemented within the first 30 days • One or two video meetings to discuss the findings and recommendations I value quality over speed. Practical, evidence-based recommendations are far more valuable than lengthy reports. About the Platform The platform enables international students to compare language schools, courses, accommodation, airport transfers, and related services through a guided booking experience. Our goal is to simplify the student journey while helping language schools attract qualified international students. Long-Term Vision The current MVP is only the first step. My long-term vision is to evolve the platform into a comprehensive digital ecosystem that supports marketplace management, business operations, remote teams, workflow automation, analytics, and future AI-powered capabilities. I am looking for someone who can think beyond today's MVP and provide recommendations that support sustainable long-term growth. Ideal Candidate You should have proven experience with: • Marketplace Products • SaaS Products • Product Management • Product Strategy • User Experience (UX) • Customer Acquisition • Conversion Optimization • Product Launches • Scaling Digital Products Experience in EdTech is highly desirable.
