Product Photographer & Wig Stylist Needed in China for E-Commerce Photoshoot

We are an established Australian wig company seeking a professional and experienced product photographer based in China to reshoot our complete synthetic wig collection. We are looking for someone with strong experience in hair, beauty, fashion, cosmetics, or premium e-commerce product photography. The successful photographer must also be able to work with an experienced hair stylist or wig stylist to ensure every product is professionally prepared and styled before it is photographed. Project Objective We want to create a consistent, high-quality image library for our entire synthetic wig range. Our products will be shipped directly from our supplier in China to the selected photographer or studio. You will work closely with our team to develop a photography setting, lighting style, background, and overall visual direction that complements our existing website and branding. Every wig must be styled to perfection before being photographed. This includes brushing, smoothing, shaping, adjusting the parting, arranging the fringe or layers, and ensuring the wig looks natural, symmetrical, polished, and ready for e-commerce. Required Images For every individual wig or colour variation, we will require: * Front view * Left-side view * Right-side view * Back view * Close-up of the colour and fibre * Close-up of the hairline, parting, or cap construction where relevant * Additional detail images where required All images must have consistent: * Camera positioning * Product placement * Lighting * Background * Cropping * Image dimensions * Colour accuracy * Styling quality * Editing and retouching The photographs must accurately represent the real colour, length, density, texture, shape, and construction of each wig. Colour accuracy is extremely important. Styling Requirements The photographer must either: 1. Have professional experience styling wigs and hair for photography; or 2. Be able to arrange an experienced hairstylist or wig stylist to attend the photoshoot. We do not want the wigs photographed directly out of the packaging. Every product must be carefully prepared, steamed or styled where appropriate, and checked before each image is taken. The products may be photographed on a mannequin, model, or another agreed presentation format. We will work with the successful applicant to finalise the visual direction before the full shoot begins. Photographer Requirements The ideal applicant will have: * Professional product photography experience * Experience photographing hair, wigs, beauty products, cosmetics, or fashion * A professional studio or suitable photography space in China * Strong lighting and retouching skills * Excellent attention to detail * Experience managing high-volume e-commerce photography projects * Access to a professional hair or wig stylist * The ability to maintain the same visual standard across a large number of products * Strong communication and the ability to follow detailed creative guidelines * The ability to receive products directly from our Chinese supplier Experience working with international e-commerce brands is highly preferred. Project Process We expect the project to include: 1. Initial consultation and creative direction 2. Development of the photography setting and styling standard 3. A paid test shoot using a small number of wigs 4. Review and approval of the test images 5. Full production shoot 6. Professional editing and colour correction 7. Delivery of high-resolution files and website-ready files 8. Reasonable revisions where images do not meet the approved standard No full production shoot should begin until the sample images and visual direction have been approved.
