Product Quality Inspector Needed in Quanzhou, Fujian — Ceramic Sublimation Mugs

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Product Quality Inspector / Pre-Shipment Inspector based in or very close to Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, China. Our product is ceramic sublimation mugs in the kitchenware / drinkware category. The inspection will take place at our supplier’s factory once production is completed and before shipment. We need someone honest, careful, independent, and experienced with ceramic products. The products are for retail / e-commerce, so we need a strict inspection with clear photos, videos, and a professional English report. Main Responsibilities: - Visit the supplier’s factory in Quanzhou, Fujian for an on-site pre-shipment inspection - 100% visual inspection of finished products from the completed production batch - Clearly state how many units were inspected and how many defects were found - Check overall product quality, workmanship, finish, gloss, rim, handle, shape, size, weight, and consistency - Inspect for ceramic defects such as chips, cracks, pinholes, specks, glaze skips, rough bottoms, warping, uneven surfaces, stains, scratches, and other visible defects - Check sublimation print quality, including print placement, sharpness, alignment, color consistency, fading, ghosting, smudging, and other print defects - Perform basic microwave-use testing on selected samples if the factory allows, such as testing with water inside the mug and checking for cracking, glaze issues, unusual overheating, print damage, or other visible problems - Check whether dishwasher-safe claims are supported by supplier documentation or test reports; if a dishwasher test is available at the factory, inspect selected samples before and after washing for print fading, peeling, cracking, glaze damage, or other visible defects - Perform basic product checks, including handle quality, mug stability, and general usability - Verify product quantity, packaging, individual boxes, carton condition, carton labels, and shipping marks - Check UPC/EAN barcode readability if applicable - Take clear high-resolution photos and videos of the products, packaging, cartons, defects, inspection process, and selected samples - Communicate with the supplier in Mandarin when needed - Provide a detailed English PDF inspection report within 24 hours after the factory visit Requirements: - Must be based locally in or very close to Quanzhou / Fujian - Experience inspecting ceramic products, sublimation mugs, drinkware, kitchenware, stoneware, or similar consumer products preferred - Strong attention to detail and ability to clearly identify defects - Able to write a clear inspection report in English - Able to speak Mandarin with the factory - Must be able to provide a sample inspection report from previous work - Must be available to inspect as soon as production is completed Please include the following in your proposal: 1.
