Product Sourcing And Partial Development

Hi there, My name is Glenn Leondike, founder of Building Baseball (buildingbaseball.org). We make and sell the Whip Bat, a weighted baseball swing trainer, and I'm looking for a sourcing partner to take over full production as we scale up. I have been sourcing parts for this product in China and assembling it here in Texas, but can no longer keep up with demand (I have been out of stock multiple times this year already). Even with running out of stock every other month we have sold a couple thousand units over the last 2 years. The product I currently sell is clunky and looks "home made", but works well. I am attempting to make the units look more professional, and function just as well at a lighter weight (from 30-27oz roughly) The product is a multi-component assembly that would need to be sourced and made into a single retail product: - A bat handle with a strong eye hook at the end - Steel chain with quick links - A welded metal head (disc + pipe + M8 lifting eye nut) with foam/PU padding around it — I have STEP files ready to share - A branded drawstring bag - A small assembly wrench, a training baseball, and printed instructions - Retail box / packaging Again I have photos, or you can just look up "The Whip Bat 2.0" on amazon. I have been using roughly 8 manufactures and suppliers over in china that have delivered high quality parts so far. This has kept the cost down but it is time to find someone who can make this product in it's entirety. Because this is a weighted product that constantly gets hit with baseballs, I NEED SOMEONE I CAN TRUST TO BUILD THIS PRODUCT LIGHT AND STRONG. This product has a reputation for being the best and highest priced item in the space, so it needs to be manufactured with that in mind. On volume, I'm planning 100–200 units for the first run, then 500–1,000 units per order after the first run. Also we've already had to deal with a copycat (although a very bad version) so discretion when it comes to resellers is a big deal to me. Attached are rough STL files of the parts I need, the full old version of the product, a handle that will need to be sourced (but made of a thicker material).
