# Video Editor (Money + Motivation Documentary Style) ## About the Channel I am building a YouTube channel focused on the intersection of wealth, success, discipline, business, entrepreneurship, and motivation. Examples of styles I like include: - Type this in on YouTube — howreallyvideos - MagnatesMedia - LEMMiNO ## What You'll Be Doing I will provide: - Script - Voiceover - Direction/examples You will be responsible for: - Full video editing - Motion graphics - Text animations - B-roll selection - Stock footage integration - Visual storytelling - Sound design - Background music - Pacing and retention optimization The final product should keep viewers engaged from start to finish and feel like a professional documentary rather than a simple slideshow. ## Style Requirements I'm specifically looking for editors who can create: - Animation - Money and business visualizations - Dynamic text animations - Documentary-style storytelling - Smooth transitions - Premium motion graphics - Emotional and motivational sequences - Strong hooks in the first 30 seconds - High viewer retention editing The videos should feel modern, clean, and visually impressive. **A note on "animation":** By this I mean motion graphics, data visualizations, and animated text/charts/icons layered over b-roll and stock footage — things like numbers counting up, custom maps and diagrams building piece by piece, animated stat overlays, and icon-based motion graphics (a rising arrow, a vault opening, etc.). This is NOT full character-based cartoon animation (like an animated explainer channels where a drawn character walks and talks through a story). If your portfolio is mostly cartoon/character animation, this is not the right fit — I'm looking for the documentary-meets-motion-graphics style shown in the example channels above. ## Video Length - 10–15 minutes per video - Long-form YouTube content - Potentially 4–8 videos per month ## Ideal Candidate You are a strong fit if you: - Have experience editing finance, business, documentary, or motivational content - Understand YouTube retention and pacing - Can independently source visuals and build engaging scenes - Have motion graphics experience - Can communicate clearly and meet deadlines - Are interested in a long-term partnership So for the animation style and character, here's exactly what I'm looking for: The overall animation style should be clean flat 2D — smooth transitions, polished motion graphics, and the kind of quality that makes abstract concepts feel visual and easy to follow. That's the production level I want. For the actual character, I want it to be completely unique to my channel. The main character is built directly from my flame logo — take the exact flame silhouette from the Inner Fuel logo and give it a simple body. Thin arms and legs with rounded tips, no hand or feet detail. Two small oval eyes and a minimal curved line for a mouth. No nose. No realistic human features at all. The flame body uses the same orange-to-yellow gradient from my logo — not a flat solid color. Here's the key detail: when the character is in a positive, disciplined, or winning moment, the flame burns taller and brighter. When the character is in a low, struggling, or bad-habit moment, the flame shrinks and dims to a dull grey-orange. So the character's emotional state is shown through the flame itself, not just the face. The color palette throughout the whole video stays consistent with my logo — black or near-black backgrounds, orange and yellow as the primary accent colors, white for text and neutral elements. Personality-wise, think calm and wise, not hyper or cartoonish. More like a quiet mentor figure guiding the viewer through the story. ## To Apply Please send: 1.
