Summary

We are a growing roofing company in South Florida looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Project & Permit Coordinator / Project Manager Assistant to help support our roofing projects from start to finish. This role will involve working closely with our project manager, office team, subcontractors, suppliers, permit departments, and clients to help keep jobs moving smoothly and on schedule. Responsibilities include: Assist with permit processing for roofing projects in South Florida municipalities Track permit status, inspections, revisions, notices, and approvals Coordinate with subcontractors and crews regarding schedules, job details, and project updates Order materials and coordinate deliveries with suppliers Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, project status, access, inspections, and general updates Help the project manager organize job information, photos, documents, invoices, and change orders Follow up with cities, counties, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors as needed Keep internal project trackers updated Assist with general administrative tasks related to active roofing projects Ideal candidate should have: Experience with roofing, construction, permitting, or project coordination Familiarity with South Florida permitting is a strong plus Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent organization and follow-up skills Ability to manage multiple projects and details at the same time Comfortable calling municipalities, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Reliable internet, phone, and computer Ability to work during U.S. business hours, preferably Eastern Time This is a long-term position for the right person. We are looking for someone who can become an important part of our team and help our project manager stay organized, responsive, and efficient.
