Project Manager (Asana)
Worldwide
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager with extensive, proven, hands-on Asana software experience to organize and drive our projects across the company. This is a part-time, hourly role focused on building and maintaining a clean, well-structured Asana workspace, tracking action items and deadlines, keeping owners accountable, and giving leadership clear visibility into the status of every workstream. The role is fully remote and open to candidates anywhere in the world. Key Responsibilities • Own and administer the company Asana workspace: design and maintain projects, portfolios, templates, custom fields, sections, rules, and automations. • Build, maintain and track project plans, timelines, milestones, task owners, deadlines and dependencies across engineering, vendor sourcing, certification, and operations workstreams in Asana. • Create and maintain dashboards and status reports that give leadership a clear, at-a-glance view of progress, risks, and bottlenecks. • Coordinate cross-functional work and keep handoffs between team members, departments, and outside vendors on schedule. • Set up recurring workflows and meeting cadences, and help connect Asana with adjacent tools such as Microsoft 365 / SharePoint, Slack, Fireflies, Claude and HubSpot. • Document processes and standard operating procedures so the team works consistently. • Insure team members are updated at least weekly of their assigned tasks and deadlines by sending concise weekly summaries that flag what is on track, what is at risk, and what needs leadership attention. Required Qualifications • 3 or more years of project management or project coordination experience utilizing Asana software. • Extensive, demonstrable Asana expertise at an administrator level: portfolios, custom fields, rules and automation, reporting, dashboards, and templates. • Excellent written and spoken English and strong, proactive communication. • Highly organized, reliable, and self-directed, with strong follow-through and attention to detail. • Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously, with a few hours of daily overlap with US Central time. • Familiarity with adjacent collaboration tools (Slack, Microsoft 365 / SharePoint, and similar). Preferred Qualifications • Asana certification (Asana Certified Pro or Workflow Specialist) or equivalent demonstrated mastery. • PMP, CAPM, or similar project management credential. • Experience supporting a startup or fast-paced, multi-workstream environment. • Exposure to engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, or other technical operations. • Experience with Fireflies, HubSpot, or workflow automation tools (Make, Zapier).
