Project Manager / Digital Producer for Web Projects

About the Role We're a Melbourne-based digital agency looking for an experienced Project Manager / Digital Producer to join us on a contract basis. You'll be the connective tissue between our Australian clients and our offshore development team — keeping projects on track, communication clear, and delivery tight. This is a remote role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and knows how to manage expectations on both sides of the equation. What You'll Do Own end-to-end delivery of web projects (websites, web apps, CMS builds, digital campaigns) Brief and manage an offshore development team — writing clear specs, running standups, and unblocking issues Be the primary point of contact for Australian clients — managing timelines, updates, scope changes, and escalations Translate client requirements into actionable tasks for developers Maintain project documentation, schedules, and status reports Identify risks early and resolve them before they become problems Ensure quality standards are met before client-facing milestones What We're Looking For 3+ years of project management or digital production experience in a web agency or similar environment Proven ability to manage offshore or distributed development teams Strong written and verbal communication — you write briefs that developers actually understand Comfortable working across time zones (Australian business hours overlap required) Experience with project management tools (Asana, Jira, Monday, or similar) Solid understanding of web development processes — you don't need to code, but you need to know how the sausage is made Calm under pressure, highly organised, and proactive by default Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or similar CMS platforms Background working with Australian clients or in the Australian market Engagement Details Remote / contract Ongoing basis with potential to grow Australian business hours overlap required To Apply Please share examples of web projects you've managed end-to-end, the tools and processes you use, and a brief note on your experience working with offshore development teams.
