IT Project Manager – IT Security & Active Directory (Remote, DACH Enterprise)

We're sourcing a senior IT Project Manager for a critical enterprise initiative at a globally operating medical technology and optical systems company. The project focuses on IT Security Remediation and Active Directory Consolidation — closing security gaps and globally standardizing directory structures. Project details Start: ASAP End: 31 October 2026 (extension option) 100% remote Full-time (100% utilization) Project language: English (German is a plus) What you'll be doing - End-to-end project management across the full lifecycle (analysis through post-deployment) - Owning timeline and budget discipline — IT Security and AD scope delivery - Maintaining detailed project plans, budget forecasts, and resource models - Coordinating and onboarding project resources per plan Managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations across international teams - Running governance structures: Jour Fixe, SteerCo, change management - Interfacing with central PMO and Sensee IQ Governance Applying the client's internal PM methodology strictly What we're looking for Must-have: - 5+ years as IT Project Manager in complex enterprise environments - Proven track record in Active Directory consolidation (migrations, domain joins) and IT Security Remediation (network security, IAM) - Strong IT project controlling skills: budgeting, Earned Value, forecasting - Recognized PM certification: PMP/PMI, Prince2 Practitioner, Scrum Master, or SAFe - Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, Confluence, MS Office - C1 English (project language) - Confident stakeholder management up to C-level; experience with matrix-organized global teams Nice to have: - Experience in regulated industries (MedTech, Pharma, Automotive) - German language skills How to apply Please share your CV and 2–3 sentences on your most relevant AD consolidation or IT security project experience.
