Project Manager – Telecommunications Construction (Pay depends on area you live and cost of living) The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of multiple telecommunications construction crews while ensuring customer commitments, schedule requirements, and project milestones are achieved. This role serves as the primary point of contact between field operations, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate multiple tower crews across various markets and projects. Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to meet customer deadlines and operational objectives. Monitor project aging and cycle times to ensure work is progressing efficiently and customer commitments are met. Maintain accurate project records and update customer and internal databases in a timely manner. Utilize Microsoft Excel and other project management tools to track schedules, metrics, staffing, and project status. Coordinate site access requirements, permits, landlord notifications, outages, and other prerequisites necessary for successful project execution. Communicate effectively with customers, field personnel, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proactively identify risks, scheduling conflicts, and potential delays and implement corrective actions when necessary. Ensure crews have the information, materials, and resources required to complete work safely and efficiently. Track and report project metrics, milestones, and performance indicators to leadership and customers. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while balancing operational demands and changing priorities. Qualifications: Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and database management systems. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing priorities. Understanding of telecommunications construction, tower operations, customer access requirements, and project scheduling is preferred. Ability to thrive in a workload-driven environment where priorities and volume can fluctuate. The successful candidate understands that some days require extended effort to meet customer demands, while other days may allow for additional planning and administrative work. Strong sense of accountability, urgency, and ownership of assigned projects. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, crews, and internal stakeholders. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to consistently deliver results in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
