Project Planner / Scheduler – Construction (Short-Term Contract)

we are seeking an experienced Project Planner / Scheduler to develop a detailed, client-ready programme for a 2-house apartment development. This is a short-term contract with potential for ongoing work based on performance. Scope of Work Develop a fully detailed construction programme from start to completion Break down works into clear phases (groundworks, structure, fit-out, finishes, etc.) Produce a Gantt-style schedule with timelines, dependencies, and critical path Align programme with realistic site sequencing and resource planning Issue a professional, client-facing document suitable for submission Provide a version tailored for the site manager (practical, buildable sequence) Requirements Proven experience in construction planning/scheduling (Ireland or UK) Strong understanding of residential builds and sequencing Proficient in tools such as MS Project, Primavera, Excel, or similar Ability to produce clear, professional, and accurate programmes Strong communication and ability to work to tight deadlines Deliverables Master programme (client issue) Site programme (practical execution) Critical path and key milestone breakdown Optional: 2–4 week lookahead programme What We’re Looking For Someone practical – not just theory, but understands how jobs actually run on site Clean, professional output (tier 1 standard) Quick turnaround and responsive communication
