Project Scheduler / Planner – MS Project Setup for Civil Construction (Gantt, Cashflow, Program

:We're a civil construction company (subdivision, civil works) looking for an experienced Project Scheduler/Planner to help us build a proper project scheduling template in Microsoft Project that we can reuse across all our jobs. We need someone with genuine civil/construction scheduling experience — not just software know-how — to set up MS Project for a live project, including: Gantt chart – full task/WBS breakdown, dependencies, milestones, critical path Cashflow / financial tracking – linked to task timing and progress, ideally as an S-curve Program / master schedule – high-level program view rolling up from detailed tasks Resource allocation – labour, plant/equipment, subcontractors Baseline & progress tracking – planned vs actual, % complete, variance Reporting outputs – exportable/printable views for internal and client reporting We're not just looking for a one-off build — we need you to walk us through how it all works so our project managers can duplicate the template and run it independently on future projects. This will involve a screen-share session (or recorded walkthrough) explaining the structure and functions you've set up. Ideal candidate: Strong background as a Planner/Scheduler in civil, infrastructure, or construction projects Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Project (Primavera P6 experience a plus, but MS Project is what we'll be using) Understands WBS structure, procurement lead times, and cashflow linked to progress claims — not just generic scheduling Comfortable linking schedule to cost/cashflow data Good communicator — able to explain, not just build Available for a live walkthrough/training session after setup Deliverables: Working MS Project template configured for our civil project (Gantt, cashflow, program view) Short training/walkthrough session or recorded video explaining structure and functions Brief written guide/cheat sheet for our PMs to replicate on new projects Duration: Short-term, 1–2 weeks
