Property Research Assistant – Rural Properties (Western Australia) Part-Time Freelance Role (4-5 Hours Per Week) I am seeking a Property Research Assistant to help identify and evaluate rural properties in Western Australia. This is a research role focused on finding suitable properties and producing a shortlist of opportunities. Search Areas Primary: • Chittering • Lower Chittering • Bindoon • Bullsbrook • Toodyay Secondary: • Margaret River Region Property Criteria • 20–80 hectares • Suitable for cattle grazing • Comfortable 4+ bedroom home • Reliable water source (creek, river, spring, bore or dam) • Attractive natural setting • Potential for farm stays, glamping, retreats or eco-tourism • Ideally within 60–90 minutes of Perth CBD (Margaret River assessed separately) Responsibilities • Search REIWA, Realestate.com.au, Domain, Farmbuy and rural agencies • Monitor new listings several times per week • Review photos, maps and property details • Filter out unsuitable properties • Record findings in a spreadsheet • Provide a weekly shortlist Assess Each Property For • Land size • Water availability • Grazing suitability • House quality • Distance from Perth • Tourism potential • Scenic appeal • Key risks • Overall suitability score Weekly Deliverables Spreadsheet including: • Address • Listing link • Asking price • Land size • Summary assessment • Score out of 100 • Recommendation: Reject, Watch or Shortlist Plus a brief summary of the best opportunities. Requirements • Strong online research skills • Attention to detail • Good written English • Spreadsheet experience Property experience is helpful but not essential. When Applying 1.
