ABOUT US We're a Microsoft Partner specializing in Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain, and Business Central for mid-market manufacturing and public sector clients. ABOUT THE ROLE Assess the RFP before we commit resources to it. The process includes elements of research, judgement on positioning, detailed technical detail, a strong assessment on pricing the software and services, evaluating compliance needs. We need someone who can take an RFP from first read to submitted proposal and do it with the rigor and polish of a large firm. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Evaluate incoming RFPs and score our fit objectively against our offerings, capacity, and size — flag the ones we shouldn't pursue as clearly as the ones we should. • Lead the full proposal build: research the client, the opportunity, and the competitive landscape to inform positioning and win themes. • Coordinate directly with technical staff and consultants to translate their expertise into a clear, compelling technical narrative. • Develop time estimates and cost estimates in partnership with delivery leads, grounded in realistic scoping rather than guesswork. • Own compliance: read every requirement in the RFP closely and make sure the proposal answers every one of them, in the format the issuer asked for. • Manage the proposal calendar — track deadlines, Q&A windows, amendments, and submission logistics so nothing slips. • Maintain a library of reusable content, past-performance narratives, and boilerplate that gets sharper with every proposal. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Required • Experience writing and managing proposals in response to RFPs, ideally in consulting, IT services, or systems integration. • Strong research skills — you can size up a client, a market, and a competitive field quickly and accurately. • Excellent technical writing: you can take input from subject-matter experts and turn it into prose a non-technical evaluator can follow. • Comfort working with estimates — you don't need to build the numbers yourself, but you know how to ask the right questions to get them. • Meticulous attention to compliance detail — missing a formatting requirement or a mandatory attachment is not an option. • Ability to manage multiple proposals on overlapping deadlines without losing quality. • Experience with US public sector RFPs and their compliance conventions. Preferred • Familiarity with ERP, software implementation services.
