Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Survey Research Project Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing communications, logistics, and customer service for the Maine Integrated Youth Health Survey, a comprehensive survey research project aimed at students in all middle and high schools across the State of Maine. This is a dynamic position that requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: 1. Communications Management: - Serve as the primary point of contact for all communication related to survey administration. - Coordinate with school administrators, teachers, and other stakeholders to disseminate information about the survey and ensure participation. - Respond promptly to inquiries from participants and stakeholders, providing clear and helpful information. 2. Logistics Coordination: - Oversee the logistical aspects of the survey administration, including scheduling administrative information, survey dates, staff training, and coordinating and disseminating materials. - Work closely with school staff to ensure smooth implementation of the survey, addressing any logistical challenges that may arise. - Maintain detailed records of survey logistics and activities to track progress and ensure accountability. 3. Customer Service: - Provide exceptional school support to survey participants, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner. - Serve as a resource for participants, offering guidance and support throughout the survey process. - Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements as needed. 4. Project Support: - Collaborate with the research team to support various aspects of the survey project, such as data collection, analysis, and reporting. - Assist in the development of survey materials, including questionnaires, instructions, and promotional materials. - Contribute to project planning and strategy discussions, offering insights and recommendations based on your experience and expertise. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., public policy, education, social sciences). - Previous experience in project administration, communications, or customer service roles. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, and other relevant software applications. - Experience working with State agencies, in educational settings in Maine, or with survey research projects is preferred. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. If you are a motivated and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting research initiatives and improving student health outcomes, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity! Hours and Scope: Hours will vary with the survey cycle, from roughly 15/week during quieter planning periods up to 35/week during peak recruitment and administration. We're flexible on scheduling and understand this may not be your only engagement — what matters is responsiveness to schools during Maine business hours and availability that scales up during the peak window.
