Purchasing Assistant

Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistant to join our growing procurement team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our supply chain operations—ensuring our business has the materials, equipment, and services it needs to run smoothly every day. The Role (What You’ll Do) Responsible for supporting the Purchaser with daily buying activities, including sourcing products and supplies, coordinating with suppliers, processing purchase requests, and maintaining accurate records of orders, pricing, and deliveries for proper tracking and reporting.   Requirements • Previous purchasing or procurement experience preferred • Experience buying merchandise, products, or supplies for a company • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Good communication and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently and learn quickly • Prior experience purchasing for another company is highly preferred   Work Hours 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST , Full-time position
