Purchasing Clerk for PO Support

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk who would perform the following task: 1. Purchase Order & Transactional Support Creating and processing daily purchase orders Assisting with order tracking, confirmations, and updates Supporting invoice validation and resolving basic discrepancies. 2. Inventory & Order Coordination Assisting in monitoring inventory levels across both locations Supporting replenishment activities based on direction . Following up on backorders and delivery timelines 3. Vendor & Pricing Administration Maintaining vendor records and updating pricing in the system Assisting with implementation of approved price changes. Supporting vendor communication for routine updates 4. Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinating with production, shipping, and accounting teams Supporting resolution of billing vs. shipping discrepancies Assisting in gathering information for internal requests 5. Data & System Support (NetSuite) Maintaining item records and assisting with new item setup Supporting report generation and ensuring data accuracy Assisting with system updates and documentation This role would primarily take on recurring and coordination-heavy tasks, allowing me to focus more on strategic initiatives such as vendor negotiations, cost optimization, demand planning etc.
