Python Developer for Permit Portal Scraping

Python Web Scraper Developer — Permit Data Extraction & Google Sheets Integration: We are looking for an experienced Python developer to scrape permit data from various city and county government portals and automatically push the extracted records into Google Sheets. What You Will Do: You will be assigned one jurisdiction (city or county) at a time. For each one, you must independently research the permit portal, understand its structure and search flow, and write a fully automated Python script that requires zero manual interaction during execution. Each script must be delivered as a single standalone .py file. Scraping Requirements: The script must navigate the portal, search for permit records, paginate through all results, and extract up to 20 data points(we will let you know later) per permit: Technical Requirements: Python with Playwright, Selenium, or requests/BeautifulSoup (your choice based on the portal) Headless browser execution where needed Google Sheets API integration (google-auth, gspread, or similar) Single .py file per jurisdiction — no multi-file frameworks Clean, well-commented code
