Python/Django Developer Needed for AI & RAG Integration

We’re looking for an experienced *Python Developer / Django Developer* to add AI functionality to an existing web application. The backend is built with *Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs*. We want to integrate an AI-powered document assistant that can process uploaded documents and answer questions using our private data. The project includes: * Improve and extend the existing Django backend * Integrate the OpenAI API * Build a basic RAG workflow for document retrieval * Generate and store embeddings * Connect a vector database or pgvector * Create REST API endpoints for the AI features * Handle authentication and user-specific data securely * Add validation, logging, and error handling * Test and document the implementation We’re looking for someone with strong experience in: * Python * Django * Django REST Framework * OpenAI API * RAG / Retrieval-Augmented Generation * PostgreSQL * Embeddings and vector search * REST API development Experience with *LangChain, LlamaIndex, pgvector, Pinecone, Redis, Celery, or Docker* is a plus. This is a *short-term project*, but there may be additional Python/Django and AI development work afterward if everything goes well.
