Python Trading Bot Developer – Polymarket Copy Trading System (Wallet Filtering + Delayed Entry)

I am building a Python-based automated copy trading system for Polymarket’s short-term crypto markets (Bitcoin/Ethereum Up or Down – 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h). This is not a simple mirror bot and not a multi-agent system. It is a clean, modular trading bot. What the system needs to do: → Automatically discover and evaluate wallets trading short-term crypto Up/Down markets → Apply strict filters to select only continuous, medium-sized, directional wallets → Reject market makers, speed-based bots, and small high-win-rate wallets → Build per-wallet models (behavior + how the orderbook reacts after their trades) → Detect trades from approved wallets → Use delayed entry (wait for post-copy price impact to partially settle, then enter) → Apply proper risk management (position sizing, exposure limits, circuit breakers) → Support paper trading mode before any live capital → Continuously re-evaluate wallets and automatically update the active list Tech Stack preference: → Python (asyncio preferred) → Polymarket CLOB / Gamma API (or ability to work with it quickly) → Real-time data handling (WebSockets / polling) → Clean modular architecture → Logging, monitoring, and VPS deployment Who I’m looking for: → Experienced Python developer who has built real trading bots (not just scripts) → Strong understanding of order books, fills, slippage, and risk controls → Experience with crypto exchange or prediction market APIs is a big plus → Previous Polymarket bot experience is highly preferred → Ability to write clean, maintainable, production-ready code → Comfortable discussing architecture and trade-offs What to include in your proposal: → Brief summary of relevant trading bot experience → Any experience with Polymarket, CLOB APIs, or similar platforms → How you would approach wallet filtering and delayed entry logic → Your estimated timeline and rate → Examples of previous work or GitHub (if available) Project details: → Start with architecture + core modules → Paper trading first → Long-term collaboration possible if results are good Looking for serious, experienced developers only.
