Qualia API Power BI Consultant Needed

Power BI Setup & Qualia API Integration Title Insurance Company | June 2026 Project Overview We run a title insurance operation and use Qualia as our core platform. We're looking for a Power BI consultant to connect Qualia's API to Power BI, build our initial set of reports, and get automated delivery up and running. Once the engagement wraps, we want to be able to manage and build reports on our own — no ongoing dependency on outside help. Quick Facts Industry: Title Insurance Core Platform: Qualia (operating system for title & escrow) Reporting Tool: Microsoft Power BI Team Tech Level: Non-developer — we can follow guides but cannot write code Primary Output: Excel-exportable reports + automated email delivery Initial Reports: Approximately 5 (to be finalized at kickoff) Scope of Work 1. Qualia API Connection ● Review Qualia API documentation and available data endpoints ● Establish a secure, authenticated connection between Qualia and Power BI ● Bring in a broad set of data fields — not just what's needed day one, but everything we might want to report on down the road. We'll provide a full field list to the selected consultant before work begins ● Build a clean data model that our team can navigate and use on our own 2. Initial Report Builds ● Build an initial set of reports to be defined collaboratively at project kickoff — we have a list ready and will share it with the selected consultant before work begins ● Each report needs to be exportable to Excel ● Reports should include filters and slicers so we can slice by date range, transaction type, staff member, and similar dimensions 3. Automated Refresh & Email Delivery ● Configure scheduled data refresh ● Set up Power BI Service email subscriptions so reports automatically deliver to designated recipients on a set schedule ● Advise on appropriate Power BI licensing for our team size and needs 4. Handoff & Training ● Provide a 1–2 hour walkthrough of how to navigate and use the Power BI platform as well as build new reports from the existing data model ● Deliver documentation or a short recorded walkthrough we can reference later ● The whole point is to walk away able to build new reports without calling anyone What We Are Not Looking For ● Ongoing monthly retainer or managed service — we want to own this ourselves after setup ● Complex custom development or coding — the solution should be maintainable by a non-technical user ● A platform other than Power BI — we have evaluated other options and are committed to Power BI Ideal Consultant Profile ● Demonstrated experience with Power BI and REST API integrations ● Prior experience with Qualia or similar title/real estate platforms is a strong plus ● Able to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders ● Can provide a fixed-fee quote or structured estimate with a clear breakdown ● Available to start within 2–4 weeks Deliverables ● Working Qualia → Power BI data connection with comprehensive field coverage ● Initial set of completed, tested reports ready for use ● Automated scheduled refresh and email subscriptions configured ● Handoff session with basic training on creating new reports ● Brief documentation or recorded walkthrough How to Respond Please include the following in your proposal: ● Brief description of relevant experience (Power BI + API integrations, title industry a plus) ● Your suggested approach to the Qualia API connection ● Fixed-fee quote or detailed estimate with breakdown ● Estimated timeline from start to handoff ● Any questions you have about our data or requirements We're ready to move quickly.
