Power BI Consultant

We're looking for an experienced Power BI Consultant to take over and further develop an existing enterprise reporting platform for operational and business KPIs. The project involves integrating and automating data from SAP, CMDB, SQL databases, and other source systems into a scalable, centralized Power BI reporting solution — including full documentation and knowledge transfer so the platform can be operated independently going forward. What you'll do: - Analyze and take ownership of an existing Power BI solution for operational/business performance reporting - Enhance and finalize existing dashboards; improve data models, KPI logic, and data quality checks - Integrate multiple data sources (SAP, CMDB, SQL, and others) and automate data refresh processes - Build new reports/KPIs based on business requirements - Document your work and hand over source code and technical materials - Conduct knowledge transfer and train internal staff to maintain the solution independently What we're looking for: - Strong hands-on Power BI expertise (Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, data modeling, dashboard development) - Experience integrating and automating data from SAP and other enterprise source systems via SQL/ETL - Solid SQL and data analysis skills - Understanding of SAP reporting concepts - Track record of taking over and improving existing BI solutions (not just greenfield builds) - Experience documenting and transferring technical knowledge to internal teams - Fluent business German — mandatory, spoken and written, for client-facing consulting communication
