Qualified Personal Trainer Needed to Film Exercise Demo Videos
Worldwide
Project overview I'm building my own fitness coaching app (similar to Trainerize) and need a qualified Personal Trainer to film a library of exercise demonstration videos. These videos will be linked inside the app's exercise library for coaches and clients to reference. You'll be filming yourself correctly performing a list of exercises I provide (via spreadsheet), then editing and uploading each clip, then pasting the video link next to the matching exercise on that spreadsheet. There are 400 -500 exercises/movements on the list in total. Who I need A qualified, certified personal trainer (male or female, either is fine) who can demonstrate correct exercise form and technique across a wide range of movements (compound lifts, isolation exercises, machines, cables, bodyweight, stretches, etc.). Comfortable filming themselves (or working with someone who films them) and doing basic editing/exporting. Detail-oriented, able to follow a strict technical spec and file-naming convention exactly (see below), since this project involves 400 individual files that all need to be correct. Look and setting requirements All-black outfit — no visible logos or branding on clothing. Non-branded gym/studio — no visible gym logos, signage, or branding anywhere in frame. Stationary camera (tripod/fixed position) — no handheld or panning shots. Clean, neutral background where possible. Workflow I'll share a spreadsheet listing all exercises/movements to be filmed. You film yourself performing each movement with correct form. You edit each clip to spec (trim, export — no music needed). You upload the finished file (or upload to a private/unlisted link) and paste the corresponding link into the spreadsheet next to that exercise's row. Repeat until the full list of 400 is complete. Technical delivery spec (please follow exactly) Format: MP4 (H.264 video + AAC audio) only. Every phone and browser plays this natively — please don't send MOV or WebM straight off camera, as ProRes/H.265 and WebM cause playback issues on some devices. Resolution: 1080p (1920×1080), filmed landscape/horizontal. The app's video player is a 16:9 widescreen frame — portrait video will show with bars on the sides, so landscape only. File size: hard limit of 100MB per video. At 1080p that's roughly 60–90 seconds of footage at normal export quality — plenty of headroom since clips only need to be 15–45 seconds. If a clip runs long, export at a slightly lower bitrate (~8 Mbps) rather than downscaling resolution. Length: one exercise per file, 15–45 seconds, 30fps (60fps just doubles file size with no benefit). Audio: no music. Sound-off viewing is standard for most clients, and it avoids licensing issues. File naming: name each file exactly after the exercise, e.g. Barbell Back Squat.mp4, Romanian Deadlift.mp4. This makes linking each video in the app fast and error-proof, especially across 400 files. Budget & timeline This is a fixed-price project for all videos. Please quote your rate based on the full scope. I'm flexible on timeline but would like the full library delivered within 4 weeks of starting; let me know your realistic estimate. To apply, please include: A sample of a previous filmed exercise demo (or a quick test clip) so I can see camera setup and your form/technique on screen. Confirmation of your PT certification. Your estimated turnaround time for all exercises. Your total rate for the full project (fixed price preferred).
