Quality Assurance Analyst needed for Health App Data Verification

The Role: We are looking for a highly meticulous Quality Assurance Analyst to audit and verify our health product database. You will be provided with targeted lists of products (e.g., the top 20 items in a specific category) and tasked with auditing their metadata, ingredients, and attached lab reports to ensure 100% accuracy. In this role, you will act strictly as our verification checkpoint. You will not be responsible for manually fixing or entering the data. Instead, your job is to identify discrepancies, bugs, and inaccuracies, and properly log them into our tracking systems so our engineering and data teams can apply the fixes. The Skills Required: Extreme Attention to Detail: A single missing ingredient or incorrect lab test value matters in our industry. You must be highly meticulous in spotting anomalies. Quality Assurance Experience: Proven experience auditing datasets, performing routine QA checks, and following strict diagnostic workflows. Systems Navigation: Comfortable navigating custom backend dashboards, Slack, and complex Notion tracking boards. Pattern Recognition: Ability to quickly identify recurring systemic bugs across large datasets rather than just isolated errors. Interest in Health/Wellness: A basic understanding of nutrition labels, supplements, or ingredient lists will make this job much easier for you. Expectations (Deliverables): You will be expected to conduct routine audits on our product listings and follow a strict 3-step QA workflow: Identify, Log, and Diagnose. Your daily deliverables will include: Targeted Verification: Going one-by-one through assigned product lists to cross-check lab reports and metadata against our rating logic. Hunting Known Bugs: Actively looking for specific user-facing issues such as duplicate product listings, false "Lab Tested" badges, nameless barcodes, and broken category filters. Issue Logging: When a product doesn't look right, you will log the error in our Scoring Validation tracker (if it affects the product's rank) and diagnose the root cause in our Data Integrity tracker. Clear Communication: Providing concise daily reports in Slack detailing the categories reviewed and the critical bugs flagged.
