Quantity Surveyor for Historical Plan Estimates Dataset

Quantity Surveyor Required - Historical Residential Plans and Detailed Estimate Dataset We are conducting technology research on residential construction take-off and estimation. We are seeking a quantity surveyor who can provide approximately 100 matched sets of previously completed single-residential building plans and their corresponding detailed cost estimates or bills of quantities. This is not a request to prepare 100 new estimates. We are looking for historical project information to provide for research purposes that has been depersonalised to remove confidential client information. Required information: Each project set should include: - A complete set of architectural or construction plans for a single residential dwelling - The corresponding detailed estimate, bill of quantities, or take-off - Line-by-line quantities and cost items, preferably structured in accordance with RICS, NRM, SMM, or another recognised quantity-surveying standard - Sufficient detail to connect estimate items to the relevant elements shown in the plans - Editable or machine-readable estimate data, preferably Excel or CSV - Plans preferably provided in PDF format All documents must be fully de-identified, with client names, addresses, contact details, company branding, signatures, and other confidential or personally identifiable information removed. The plans and estimates must relate to the same completed estimating exercise. Generic price lists, cost databases, template estimates, or estimates without the corresponding plans will not be suitable. Project structure We propose completing the engagement in two milestones: Milestone 1 — Validation sample Provide three complete, de-identified plan-and-estimate sets. We will review these to confirm that the level of detail, consistency, file formats, and item structure meet our research requirements. Milestone 2 — Full dataset Following acceptance of the sample, provide the remaining 97 plan-and-estimate sets in the agreed format.
