QuickBooks Cleanup Specialist | QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper | QuickBooks Reconciliation

We are looking for an experienced QuickBooks Online (QBO) Cleanup Specialist to clean up, organize, and reconcile our books for a U.S.-based small business. If you are a QuickBooks Expert with proven experience in QuickBooks Cleanup, Catch-Up Bookkeeping, QuickBooks Reconciliation, and preparing tax-ready financials, we'd love to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper who can identify bookkeeping issues, resolve reconciliation discrepancies, and deliver accurate financial reports. Key Responsibilities: Perform QuickBooks Online Cleanup and Catch-Up Bookkeeping. Complete bank reconciliation and credit card reconciliation with accuracy. Identify and resolve reconciliation discrepancies, beginning balance issues, and historical bookkeeping errors. Correct duplicate, missing, uncategorized, and misclassified transactions. Record journal entries, accruals, depreciation, and year-end adjusting entries. Review, organize, and optimize the Chart of Accounts (COA). Maintain accurate Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) records. Ensure accurate Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement reports. Prepare clean, organized, and tax-ready books for CPA or tax filing. Ensure bookkeeping complies with U.S. GAAP and small business accounting best practices. Recommend improvements to maintain accurate monthly bookkeeping going forward. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO). Proven expertise in QuickBooks Cleanup, Cleanup Bookkeeping, Catch-Up Bookkeeping, and Monthly Bookkeeping. Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation, and Credit Card Reconciliation. Experience recording journal entries, adjusting entries, accruals, and year-end bookkeeping adjustments. Ability to identify and correct historical bookkeeping errors and account discrepancies. Experience preparing tax-ready books, financial reports, and year-end financial statements. Strong understanding of U.S. small business accounting principles and GAAP. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification is highly preferred.
