QuickBooks Online Accounting Cleanup and Finance Expert for E-Commerce Business

We are seeking a highly capable QuickBooks Online Accounting & Finance Operations Expert with strong e-commerce experience to support the day-to-day financial and operational management of our growing wellness business. This role requires someone who understands both accounting/bookkeeping, inventory management and operational execution across online retail channels such as Amazon Seller Central, Walmart, and Shopify. The ideal candidate is has experience working with Ai tools(Claude), is analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in managing inventory, finance and operations in an inventory-driven business. We are looking for a professional who can support and manage inventory reconciliations, AP/AR process, purchase orders, receiving, and financial reporting, while also supporting our bookkeeper and strengthening our internal financial systems. We have some AP/AR clean up to handle in our QBO as well. Scope of Work Responsibilities include: Oversee accounting and clean reporting for QuickBooks Online (QBO) accurately and consistently (Clean up AP/AR reports) Set up QBO for a new manufacturing entity Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Oversee purchasing, receiving, and vendor records Support and improve inventory management, receiving, stock tracking, and reconciliation Manage vendor relationships and coordinate follow-up on invoices, payments, and delivery issues Work across Amazon Seller Central, Walmart, and Shopify to align orders, inventory, payouts, and financial records Assist with 1099 preparation and filing support Assist with W-2 and payroll-related filing support Support the bookkeeper by ensuring financial data is clean, categorized, reconciled, and audit-ready Help prepare financial reports, management reports, and operational analytics with help of Ai & Claude Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial accuracy Monitor and report on inventory levels, purchasing needs, stock discrepancies, and receiving issues Help build and improve workflows between accounting, operations, inventory, and sales channels Identify errors, gaps, and opportunities for stronger financial and operational controls Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone with expert and senior experience in: QuickBooks Online (required) E-commerce accounting and operations Amazon Seller Central Walmart Marketplace Shopify Purchase orders, receiving, and inventory workflows Accounts payable and accounts receivable (AR/AP cleanup) Sales tax and business tax filing support 1099 and W-2 filing support Vendor coordination and operational follow-through Financial reporting and analytics Oversee bookkeeping and operational accounting processes Preferred Qualifications Experience working with inventory-based or product-driven businesses Strong understanding of inventory accounting Comfortable with spreadsheets, reporting, and reconciliations Highly analytical and deadline-driven Strong attention to detail and process discipline Able to work independently and proactively solve problems Deliverables / Outcomes Accurate and timely QuickBooks records Improved control over purchase orders, receiving, and vendor management Better visibility into inventory movement and stock levels Stronger coordination between accounting and operations Timely support for tax, 1099, and W-2 filing processes Clear, reliable financial and management reporting Cleaner workflows and better internal controls across finance and operations To Apply Please include: A brief summary of your experience with QuickBooks Online Your experience with Amazon Seller Central, Walmart, and Shopify Examples of similar roles you have handled in e-commerce or inventory-based businesses Your experience with POs, receiving, vendor management, AP/AR, inventory, and tax support Your availability and preferred working hours We are looking for someone reliable, organized, analytical, and hands-on who can help us bring stronger discipline, visibility, and execution across both finance and operations.
