QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper for Court-Reporting

I'm a fractional CFO (Growth Guidance Solutions) and I'm adding a reliable QuickBooks Online bookkeeper to support my clients. First up is a new client — a well-established solo court-reporting / legal-support business (the owner also runs a podcast). You'd work under my direction as part of my team: I own the CFO/advisory layer and the client relationship; you own clean, on-time books. The business at a glance Solo operator, service business — roughly 50–150 transactions/month One business checking account + one business credit card; no payroll 2–6 contractors (1099-NEC at year-end) Several revenue streams (appearance fees, original transcripts/pages, copies, expedite/rush, podcast) tracked by class Invoicing runs through Invoice2Go today; we're standing the books up on QuickBooks Online Scope of work One-time setup — QBO chart of accounts, class structure by revenue stream, bank/card feeds, and an Invoice2Go import process. Catch-up — bring January–June 2026 current (6 months). (Optional: full-year 2025 for comparatives — quote separately.) Recurring monthly — categorize transactions, reconcile the bank + card, track 1099 vendors, and deliver a clean monthly close by the 10th, including a P&L broken out by revenue stream. Year-end — 1099-NEC prep and filing for up to 6 contractors, plus a clean handoff package for the client's CPA. What I'm looking for Strong QuickBooks Online skills — class tracking, bank rules, reconciliations. QBO ProAdvisor a plus. Experience with U.S. small-business books, 1099s, and service-business revenue. Excellent written English, responsive communication, and comfort hitting a monthly close deadline. Accuracy and discretion — you'll be handling financial data. Bonus: Invoice2Go (or similar) experience, and multi-stream / class-based P&Ls. Engagement & budget Ongoing monthly retainer for the recurring work — target ~$400–500/month for this volume This is a long-term fit: I place bookkeepers across multiple clients, so strong performers get more work.
