REDCap AWS Setup & Initial Project Build

Overview: We are seeking a skilled freelancer to set up REDCap on AWS using CloudFormation (https://amzn.to/3u1Ch61). The project involves creating a CloudFormation template for a REDCap instance and ensuring the environment is ready for use. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS services and CloudFormation, as well as a strong understanding of REDCap. This is a short-term project with the potential for a small amount of ongoing work if desired. Job description: We are seeking an experienced IT Consultant with REDCap experience to support the installation and initial setup of REDCap for a non-profit research organization. This project involves deploying REDCap using AWS CloudFormation under an institutional license, followed by configuration and setup of one initial project. Scope of Work - Deploy REDCap on AWS using CloudFormation - Configure environment (database, storage, backups, security, user access) - Ensure system is stable, secure, and ready for use - Assist with creating a simple initial REDCap project or template (e.g., basic survey or registry structure) - Provide basic guidance for internal use Requirements - Experience with AWS (CloudFormation, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM) - Experience installing or working with REDCap (installation experience preferred) - Ability to complete setup independently and communicate clearly Nice to Have, but not requried - Experience with REDCap project design, research workflow development - Experience with research or clinical data systems - Ability to support future projects as short term contract or ongoing freelancer (optional, not required) This is a short-term project with potential for ongoing work if a good fit.
