Technical experience Requirements Theme: Minor customization of news website, API integration, Plugin management Plugin: Use latest plugin for news content, experience in WordPress Automatic Plugin Core Functionality: Solid Expertise in WP RSS Aggregator, custom RSS processing. Performance: Knowledge of Core Web Vitals (the site must be lightning-fast). Key Responsibilities Content Aggregation : Set up automated fetching of RSS feeds, ensuring proper attribution and canonical tagging to avoid SEO penalties. Dynamic Layouts: Use GP Elements and GB Query Loops to create custom "Front Page" layouts, "Category" archives, and "Single Post" templates. Content Filtering: Implement logic to filter out duplicate content or low-quality snippets. Taxonomy Mapping: Ensure incoming content is correctly mapped to internal categories and tags. Qualifications Prior experience of news portals, Proven portfolio of sites built specifically with using WordPress Automatic Plugin or similar plugin, need live samples Experience with Custom Post Types (CPT) and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
