Racing Sound Designer

We're looking for a sound designer who can make stock car racing sound real. We need authentic audio for NASCAR-style cars—engine notes, pack-racing ambience, pit and crowd atmosphere, and the visceral details that sell the experience. What you'll do Design engine sounds with realistic RPM mapping, Doppler, and gear behavior for stock cars Build layered race ambience: drafting packs, passes, tire scrub, pit stops, crowd Deliver polished audio for short-form content and/or in-product use Collaborate with our product and 3D teams on timing and sync What we're looking for Shipped racing or motorsport audio credits strongly preferred Deep vehicle/engine sound design experience—real recordings and/or synthesis Comfort with Wwise or FMOD if real-time middleware is involved (nice to have) A portfolio or reel with racing/automotive work
