React Native Developer Needed – Bug Fixes, App Optimization & Play Store/App Store Deployment

Project Summary We have an existing React Native mobile application that is already live on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The app was last updated around 1 year ago, and due to SDK/library updates, a few features are no longer working properly. We're looking for an experienced React Native developer who can fix existing issues, optimize the project for the latest Android & iOS versions, and publish the updated app on both stores. --------------------------- Important Notes The app is already developed (around 95% complete). This is primarily a bug fixing, optimization, and upgrade project, not development from scratch. Please share examples of React Native apps you've published on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Experience with Firebase OTP, background location tracking, and store deployment is preferred. --------------------------------- Main Responsibilities App Upgrade & Optimization Upgrade React Native dependencies to latest stable versions (where required) Ensure compatibility with latest Android & iOS versions Optimize project performance Resolve build warnings/errors Generate production builds for both Android & iOS Authentication Fix Firebase Mobile Number OTP Login OTP login must work correctly on both Android & iOS Verify Firebase configuration if required Permissions Ensure all permissions work properly: Camera Location Storage / Gallery Notifications Background Location Microphone (if required) Feature Testing -------------------------------- Improvements on existing features 1. Background Location Sync Store captured locations locally Automatically sync data with server every 5–10 minutes Clear local data after successful upload Background sync should continue even if app isn't opened for several days Resume syncing after device restart 2. Improve Capture Notes : Location Capture already exist. Add notes textbox while capturing location Display notes along with captured locations 3. User List Improvements Improve Show/Hide User List UI Better user experience 5. New User Tour Add onboarding/tutorial screens for first-time users 6. SOS Feature : Already Exist Add SOS icon on Dashboard Redirect to existing Emergency Contact screen 7. Location History Fix history refresh issue when date changes Calendar selection should refresh correctly 8. Bottom Menu Fix bottom navigation overlapping issue 9.
