React Native + Node.js Developer Needed to Complete & Optimize Real-Time Chat App

Job Description We are looking for an experienced React Native + Node.js developer to optimize, improve, and scale our real-time messaging application Amigo. The app is already live on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Our anonymous Ghost Mode is production-ready, and the complete login/signup flow with Phone OTP and Email OTP has already been implemented. We're looking for a developer who can work on an existing codebase, improve stability, optimize performance, implement secure messaging, and prepare the app for future growth. This is not a project from scratch. The app is already functional and requires optimization, bug fixing, scalability improvements, and completion of the remaining features. Current Tech Stack React Native Node.js Socket.IO MongoDB AWS Firebase Authentication Scope of Work Optimization & Stability Optimize the existing codebase Improve application performance Improve backend scalability Optimize Socket.IO connections Optimize database queries Improve API performance Improve memory usage and overall app responsiveness Fix in-app purchase/payments Bug Fixes Fix remaining bugs and edge cases Improve overall app stability Resolve UI/UX inconsistencies Review and improve existing implementations where necessary Fix payments Security & Encryption Implement secure messaging architecture: Direct Messages (DM) Implement End-to-End Encryption using the Signal Protocol (or an equivalent industry-standard implementation). Groups & Signals Implement secure server-side encryption for messages in transit and at rest. End-to-End Encryption is not required for Groups or Signals.
